Mr. John Menta and Miss Clara Neverman were married Tuesday May 8, 1906 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), Rev. Jos. L. Hauck officiating. The groom was attended by Edward Hoey and Leo Jackson and Miss Maude Bruley and Miss Della Neverman, the bride's sister, acted as bridesmaids. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, at which a large number of guests were present, and bountiful refreshments were served.
The groom came here from Grand Rapids, Wis., and has a good position as foreman on the fourth floor in the furniture factory. He is a young man of ability and has already made many friends here.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neverman. She was born and brought up here and has the good will and kind interest of everyone. They will make their home here, beginning housekeeping at once.
