News was lately received here that Miss Bessie Ballou and Bruce Bunn of Portland, Ore., were united in marriage Christmas Eve. We wish to extend our congratulations to the young people and wish them a long, happy and prosperous wedded life. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Jas. Wedding of this city (Neillsville, Clark County), she was born and raised in the town of Levis. Three years ago she went to Centralia, Wash with her grandparents. The young couple lives in Portland.

Bessie was my fathers sister. My father was Walter Grant Ballou. They were children of Elmer Elseworth Ballou & Ida Wing Ballou. Ida later married a Wedding man after a divorce from my grandfather..
