Walker, Marion C. (Marriage - 5 JUN 1907)
At the home of the bride's parents, 501 North First St., Marion C. Walker and Alfred Hazelett Phillips, of Seattle, were married June 5, 1907. The ceremony was performed by Rev. H.A. Luckenbach, of the Congregational Church. Immediately after the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Phillips left for their home in Seattle.
The bride wore the wedding ring of her great-great-grandmother, who was Prudence, daughter of Charles Carroll, of Carroltown, and married the son of John Hancock. Both were signers of the Declaration of Independence. The simple but beautiful ring service of the Congregational Church was used. (Yakima (Wash.) Daily Republic)
The bride will be remember here (Clark County) as Mamie Walker, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Walker.
