Feutz, Roy Lyle (Lt. Col.) - (23 Oct 1918 - 6 Oct 1982)
Lt. Col. (Ret.) Roy L. Feutz, 63, a Clark County native, died suddenly October 6 (1982) at his home on Squaw Creek Route, Lander, Wyoming, of a heart attack. Services were held Saturday morning, October 9, at the Methodist church in Lander. The body will be cremated. The deceased was born to Chris and Ethel Feutz on October 23, 1918, in the Town of Washburn. He attended Washburn, Granton and Neillsville schools. In October 1941, he enlisted in the Air Corps, attended Officers Training school, and after 20 years retired with the rank of Lt. Col.
He was married to the former Bernita Raine, who passed away in 1956. In 1958 he married Mary Jane McNamara of Lansing, Michigan. After his retirement from the Air Force, they bought a ranch near Lander, Wyoming.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; a son by his first marriage, Major Roy L. Feutz, San Angelo, Texas; one granddaughter, Kathy, also of San Angelo; a daughter, Christina Winter, Vallejo, California; a son Bradley, Laramie, Wyoming; a daughter, Mary Kay and a son Alan, both at home in Lander; and two brothers, Lynn of Wisconsin Rapids and Donald of Owen.
Lynn Feutz, Wisconsin Rapids, and his son, Ronald Feutz, Nekoosa, attended the services.
