Jarchow, Bertha (Marriage - 10 AUG 1907)

Announcement of the coming marriage of Lester Tilton, proprietor of the Briggs House and Miss Bertha Jarchow has caused considerable surprise in hotels throughout the city. The nuptial event is to take place at the Plankington House at Milwaukee on Sat. Aug. 10, 1907. Mr. Tilton has had charge of the Briggs house since November and during his period in residence in this city has acquired quite an extensive acquaintance. Although a man of retiring nature, his thorough business qualities have established him in business circles in Appleton. Miss Bertha Jarchow, the second member of the contracting party has had charge of the Briggs House dining room since Mr. Tilton became proprietor. Mr. and Mrs. Tilton will be at home to their friends at the Briggs House after Aug. 12.
