Mr. Arthur Wilding and Miss Mattie Davis were married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Davis in Washburn, Clark County, Oct. 30, 1907, Rev. Chapman officiating. Only relatives and near friends of the parties were present. A fine wedding breakfast was served and some valuable and useful presents were bestowed. The young couple took the 11:33 train at Neillsville for a fortnight's visit at Viroqua and other points.
The groom is a young man who stands high in his community. He was brought up in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Hitchcock in Washburn, Where he will remain with his young wife to carry on the farm. The bride is a successful teacher, intelligent and endowed with the best of sense. Such young people Clark County May be proud to see settle and make a home within its borders.
