Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Engel of Spencer and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pollnow, Caledonia, Illinois. The bride was given in marriage by her father during nuptials for which Mrs. Iris Musil was organist and Mrs. Lori Anding the soloist.

The full-length bridal gown of organza and chantilly lace was in Victorian styling and with it she had a picture hat holding an elbow-length veil and a bouquet of pink roses and white gardenias.

Mrs. Mary Engel of Marshfield was matron of honor; Mrs. Jennifer Sischo, Sheboygan, bridesmatron; and Jennifer Engel, Marshfield, Marshfield, miniature bride. Michelle Nelson was flower girl and Shawn Greenlee, Wisconsin Rapids, the ring bearer.

The adult bridal aides had daphne rose knit gowns with sheer jackets and matching picture hats. Each had a floral arrangement.

Roger Engel, Marshfield, was best man; Harvey Sischo, Sheboygan, groomsman; Richard Zahrt, Schofield, miniature bridegroom; and Delmar Schmelzer, Colby, and Jon Kuhn, Marshfield, ushered.

The reception, dinner, and dance were at SouthEdge, Marshfield. Following a wedding trip through the Ozark Mountains, the Pollnows will live on Route 2, Granton.

The bride attended Spence schools and took counselor training at St. Croixdale, Prescott, graduating in January 1982. She is a counselor for Clark County Drug and Alcohol Council, Neillsville. Her husband, a 1959 graduate of Belvidere, Illinois, High School, is a mechanic for Jelco Wisconsin Inc., Marshfield.
