Turnbull, Lydia Ann (25 Jul 1832 - 19 Dec 1905)

Mrs. Lydia Ann Turnbull died Dec. 19, 1905 at the home of her daughter Mrs. Della Hodge in this city (Neillsville, Clark County). Deceased was born in Ohio, July 25, 1832. About 35 years ago she and her husband James Turnbull came to Clark County and settled in the town of Hewett. She leaves her husband and nine children, six daughters and three sons, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral was held at the house on Wednesday, Rev. D. H. Rohrabaugh officiating.

Turnbull, Lydia A. #2 (1832 - 18 DEC 1905)

Mrs. R. L. Turnbull died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Hodge, in this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.). She was one of Neillsville’s oldest residents and is well known here. She leaves a husband, who is at Hayward; four daughters and one son: Mrs. Frank Carter of Greenwood, Mrs. R. R. Hubbard, Mrs. W. E. Cornick, both of Hayward, Mrs. Hodge of this city, and Rueben Turnbull of Jackson Co., are the surviving children. The funeral was held Wednesday from the home on Grand Ave.

Eva Betty Miles (8 Oct 1858, WI-1934, Melrose, WI), the daughter of the Wis. Civil War Veteran of Reg. 1, Co. G, David "Calvin" Miles (1826-1907) & "Julia" Juliaette C. Silvernail (1832–1896). Eva married Rueben Lewis Turnbull (1858-1940) at the Method Epsicopal Church in Pine Valley, Wis., 15 Mar 1884. He was the son of James & Lyda Ann Turnball.  Mrs. A. C. Cornwell and Mrs. Lillie Fields  served as witnesses and Rev. Harvey Palmer solemnized their marriage.
