Kaufmann, Christian (18 Jul 1837 - 4 Jul 1906)

Christian Kaufmann died at his home in the town of Grant, Clark County, July 4, 1906, aged 68 years, 11 months and 17 days. He was taken with paralysis the day previous to his death, and did not rally. Deceased was born in Germany, coming to this country 23 years ago, settling in the town of Grant, where he has ever since resided. He leaves his wife, one son and three daughters. The funeral was held at the home on Saturday, the Lutheran minister from Maple Works Church officiating.
