Kelly, Julia (20 Apr 1864 - 9 Mar 1907)

On Saturday, March 9, 1907, Mrs. John F. Kelly died at her home in the town of York, Clark County, of Typhoid Fever. On Monday the remains were taken to their old home at Henrietta, near Hillsboro for burial.

Mrs. Kelly, whose maiden name was Julia Wickham, was born in Richland Co., April 20, 1864; she was married to Mr. Kelly, in Nov. 1891. They are among the more recent settlers in the town of York, having purchased the John Dwyer farm in that town and during their residence here made many friends among their neighbors. She was a woman of deep piety and goodness of heart. Besides her husband, she leaves four children to mourn their mother's loss. Among those who came to accompany the body to its final resting place were two brothers of deceased, Atty. James Wickham of Eau Claire and Thos. Wickham of corpus Christi, also James Kelly of Yuba City, and W.N. Kelly of Hillsboro, brothers of the bereaved husband. The sympathy of this entire vicinity is extended to the family.
