Haven, Julia L. (1874? - 5 Apr 1907)

Mrs. G.J. Haven died at her home in the town of Weston, Clark County, Friday, April 5, 1907. Her death occurred shortly after the birth of an infant daughter, which lived but a short time. Thus is a new home sadly and suddenly broken up. Mr. and Mrs. Haven were married June 14, 1906, at Woodstock, Ill. He came here the fall before their marriage, purchased a farm and made ready their home, and together they began life most happily. They made many friends socially, and entered heartily into all the interests of the community.

Deceased, whose maiden name was Julia Louis Medlar, was thirty-three years of age. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, also of the Order of Eastern Star and Beaver Queens. Besides her husband, she leaves her mother, a brother and two sisters. The remains of mother and child were taken Sunday to Woodstock, Ill. for burial, Jas. Phillips was accompanying the bereaved husband. To him is extended the sympathy of this entire vicinity.
