Hantke, Mary (10 NOV 1873 - 3 JUN 1907)
Mrs. Mary Hantke, wife of Otto Hantke, died at her home in Grant, Clark County, at 5 o'clock a.m., June 3, 1907, after only a few days illness.
Mrs. Hantke, whose maiden name was Mary Lezotte, was born in the town of Grant, Nov. 10, 1873. She was married to Mr. Hantke, June 12, 1897. Besides her husband and four small children, she leaves seven brothers, namely Mathew, Anthony, William, Adolph, John, Charles and Joseph Lezotte, and one sister, Mrs. Catherine Yankee. She was a woman who even from girlhood had won many friends, and her sudden death brought sorrow to a large circle of acquaintances.
The funeral was held Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rev. Jos. L. Hauck officiating.
