Scherer, Ben (AUG 1890 - 17 Mar 1908)
Ben Scherer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Scherer, died at their home across Black River (Clark County), March 17th, 1908, aged 17 years and 7 months. His sickness began several weeks ago with pneumonia and later complications set in. He was a bright active boy and his parents and brothers have the sympathy of all. The funeral will be held at the Catholic Church Friday forenoon, Rev. Dorrenbach officiating.
