Smallni, Lillie R. (8 Augl 1896 - 16 Apr 1908)
Lillie Rosa Smallni, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smallni, died at their home in the eastern part of Pine Valley, Clark County, of diphtheria, April 16, 1908, aged 11 years, 9 months and 8 days. Owing to the contagious nature of the disease, the funeral was private, burial taking place in the Neillsville Cemetery Friday. The little girl’s schoolmates and all who know the bereaved family feel the keenest sympathy for them.
