Of Miss Daisy Slocumb, whose death at Loyal Clark County was mention last week in our Pleasant Ridge items, the Loyal Tribune says:

"During her brief school days in this village she won the hearts of both teacher and pupils. Her future was full of promise and was possessed of a very studious nature. The father, mother, sisters and brothers have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.

The funeral services were held at the M.E. Church at Pleasant Ridge this afternoon at one o’clock and the remains laid to rest in the Grant Cemetery."
