Webster, Flora E. (22 Sep 1844 - 24 Dec 1908)
Mrs. E.A. Webster died at her home in the town of Fremont, Clark County, Dec. 24, 1908. Deceased, whose maiden name was Flora E. Sims, was born Sept. 22, 1844, in Onondago Co., N.Y. She came with her parents to Michigan when quite young and in 1866 came to Jackson Co., Wis. On Sept. 6, 1868 she was united in marriage to Emmett A. Webster, also of Jackson Co., and on Feb. 12, 1869 they came to Clark County, which has been their home ever since.
To them was born nine children: Cora E., Alfred J., Alice L., Myrta C., Lora B., Edward who died in infancy, Harold E. Lawrence B., and Lyle H. Besides her husband and eight children she leaves also to mourn her death nine grandchildren, one sister and four brothers. She was a woman possessed of the greatest kindness of heart and hospitality, ever ready to lend a helping hand, although having the care of a large household to look after. Among the pioneers of the town of Fremont, she will be mourned by all, almost as a near and dear relative.
