Van Tassel, Lucy (14 Augl 1890 - 22 Dec 1908)
Word was received last week by Carl Haberland that his granddaughter, Lucy Van Tassel, died in the hospital at Dallas, Ore., Dec. 22, 1908, the funeral taking place the following Sunday. She was born in Chicago, Aug. 14, 1890. Her father died and her mother afterwards married Frank Fuchs and lived for some time in Neillsville, Clark County, where Lucy attended school and will be well remembered by many young friends here. Her mother died about a year ago in Dallas, where the family moved about four years ago.
