Damerow, Carl (1893 - 30 Augl 1937)
Carl Damerow of the town of Longwood, Clark County, passed away Monday Aug. 30, 1937, at 6:00 a.m. at a hospital at Two Rivers, Minn., from injuries receive while at work in a lumber camp, where he has been working since spring.
He was born in Germany 44 years ago and came with his parents to Greenwood in 1902.
He was not married and is survived by three brothers, Herman and Paul of Greenwood; William of Chicago; and two sisters, Mrs. George Fiske of Milwaukee and Mrs. Edward Braun of Greenwood. His father, Karl Damerow and a sister, Miss Agnes Damerow, passed away in January of this year and his mother in 1921.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, Sept. 2 at 1:30 from the home of his brother-in-law, Edward Braun in the Town of Longwood and at 2:00 from the Braun Settlement Church, Rev. E.G. Pfeiffer officiating. The body will be laid to rest in the Braun Settlement Cemetery.
