Woodward, Etta (Marriage - Apr 1908)
A Fresno, Cal. Paper gives the following account of the marriage of two young people formerly of Neillsville, Clark County.
"At the home of the bride’s parents, 134 Thesta St., occurred last night the wedding of Miss Etta Woodward and Charles Lang. Both the bride and groom are natives of Wisconsin and are well known among the local Wisconsin settlers in Fresno. The bride is an exceedingly attractive girl, and the groom a capable young business man, who is employed as an electrician by the San Joaquin Power Company. The ceremony was performed at 7:30 o’clock by the Rev. Duncan Wallace of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Miss Katherine Servaty of Hanford attended the bride as maid of honor, while the best man was Lonnie Clark of Hanford. The house was prettily decorated for the occasion and after the ceremony the wedding party and guests sat down to a sumptuous repast. The young couple will reside in this city."
