Farning, Anna Belle (Marriage - 30 Jun 1908)
A very pretty wedding took place at the Catholic Church Tuesday forenoon, June 30, 1908, when Mr. Louis Barton and Miss Anna Belle Farning were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. A. Dorrenbach officiating. Mr. Lenus Prock acted as groomsman and the bride was attended by Miss Rose Barton, a sister of the groom. Not withstanding the rainy weather, a large assemblage of interested friends met at the church to witness the marriage.
After the ceremony relatives and near friends assemble at the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barton in the town of Weston, Clark County, where the wedding dinner was served.
The groom is one of Clark County’s capable young framers, energetic and honest. The bride is the daughter of Mr. John Farning of the town of Eaton, a young lady highly spoken of by all her acquaintances. The young couple will begin housekeeping on the groom’s farm, which it is said was a wedding present from his father. They begin life with fine prospects, and the best of wishes from a host of friends.
