Carter, Clara L. (Marriage - 24 Jun 1908)
On Wednesday evening, Jun 24, 1908, Mr. Ernest Schroeder and Miss Clara L. Carter, both of the town of Washburn, Clark County, were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Carter, Rev. Wilson Mallory officiating. There was a goodly number of guests present, relatives and friends of the bride and groom. A bounteous supper was served, and many fine presents bestowed upon the wedded pair.
The groom is the youngest son of Mrs. M. Schroeder. He is a man of good standing in the community, upright, honest and capable. He is the owner of a good farm, where they will make their future home.
The bride is a bright intelligent lovable young lady, of such a disposition and character as to make a good home.
To them is extended the good will of all who know them.
