Walters, Malvina (Marriage - 25 Augl 1908)
Mr. Max Lange and Miss Malvina Walters were married at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Albert Degner, in Chili, Clark County, Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 25, 1908, Rev. H.A. Risser officiating. Only relatives and near friends of the parties were present. Mr. Ed Schoengarth acted as best man and Miss Mida Visgar as bridesmaid.
A bounteous wedding supper was served and the young couple took the night train for Fond du Lac and other points. After the wedding trip they will be at home to their friends at their rooms over the Neillsville Bakery, which the groom had already nicely furnished for a home.
The groom is one of Neillsville’s most active and energetic young business men. For the past two years he has owned and operated the Neillsville Bakery. He understands his trade thoroughly, attends strictly to business and is accommodating and obliging.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Walters of the town of Grant. She has a host of friends in this city and vicinity, and is justly popular with a large circle of friends in this locality. The Republican and Press join with many others in offering best wishes.
