Krueger, Frederick (2 Feb 1937 - 26 Jul 2002)
Frederick "Fred" Krueger 65, Colby, Wisconsin, died on Friday, Jul 26, 2002, at Saint Joseph’s Palliative Care Unit, Marshfield. Memorial services were held at noon on Wednesday, Jul 31, at First United Church of Christ, Colby. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix officiated.
Frederick Krueger was born on Feb. 2, 1937, in Milan, to Walter and Catherine Krueger. He attended Cloverdale Grade School and graduated from Colby High School. He married Joyce Redeztsky on Jun 22, 1957. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-57. He worked for the town of Colby for 42 years as road superintendent, retiring in 2001. He was a member of First United Church of Christ. His interests included woodworking, jigsaw puzzles, sports, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Krueger, Colby; three daughters, Jody (Steven) Waldhart, West Bend, Jana (Michael) Wagner, Sheboygan, and Jacci (James) Andersen, Riverside, Ill.; one son, Jim (Sarah) Krueger, Marshfield; 12 grandchildren, Jonathon and Jeremy Waldhart, West Bend, Nicole, Brett, Willie, Brianna and Stephanie Wagner, Sheboygan, Carly and Danielle Andersen, Riverside, Ill., and Jake, Brad and Ryan Krueger, Marshfield; his mother, Catherine Krueger, Pickerel; one brother, Dennis (Sherry) Krueger, Colby; and four sisters, Arlene Lulloff, Germantown, Geraldine Leffel, Pickerel, Patricia (Melvin) Leffel, Pickerel, and Pamela (Larry) Bunkelman, Covington, Ky.
His father, Walter Krueger, preceded him in death. Community Funeral Home, Colby, assisted the family with arrangements.
