THORP - Albert Dale Ball, 74, Thorp, died Jul 16, 2002, at his home.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today at St. Hedwig's Chapel. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Thorp Funeral Home.
He was born July 7, 1928, to Francis and Orpha (Durbin) Ball. He married Hildegard Eckert but they were divorced. He married Marian (Spanbauer) German on Sept. 11, 1973.
He owned and operated Midway Bar in Withee and Aquarium Bar and Restaurant in Thorp.
Surviving are his wife, Marian Ball; his children, Judy (Mike) Stankevitz of Green Bay, Sheryl (William) Fifer of Withee, Kenneth German of Thorp, Rose (Elmer) Zarins of Abbotsford, John (Terese) German of Cable, Nancy (Randy) Pipes of Pasadena, Texas, Carol (Brian) Weiler of Winneconne, Gary German of West Allis, Linda (Ken) Ford of Streamwood, Ill., and Raymond (Jennifer) Ball of Neillsville. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and his sister, Helen Tullie of Weyauwega.
