Frenette, Bernard (9 Jan 1919 - 10 Augl 2002)

THORP - Bernard "Bunny" R. Frenette, 83, of Thorp, Clark County, died Aug. 10, 2002, at his residence.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard-Hedwig's Church in Thorp. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with full military rites.

The family will receive visitors from 9:30 until time of service at the church.

He was born Jan. 9, 1919, in Chippewa Falls to Joseph and Christine (nee Felix) Frenette. He was married to Eileen M. Bogumill on Aug. 7, 1941. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp from 1942-1945 and was stationed in the Caribbean. He most recently was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal service until he retired in 1982.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen Frenette of Thorp; three sons, Richard L. (Jeanne) of Thorp, William (Frances) of Greenwood, Jeffrey (Sara) Frenette of Rib Mountain; a daughter, Joan (Richard) Hornell of Corallis, Mont.; five grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Noella Frenette of Chippewa Falls; and a brother-in-law, John Larkowski of Denver.
