Johnstone, Anna (8 Feb 1889 - 13 Dec 1914)
Mrs. Martine Johnstone died Sunday at her home in Warner, Clark County, at one o’clock p.m., after much suffering from a continuous headache of several days duration. On Saturday, Dec. 5th, a son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Johnstone, and the mother seemed well on her way to recovery, when she was taken seriously ill and passed away.
Anna Engebretson was born in this county, town of Sherman, Feb. 8th, 1889, the third child of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Engelbretson. She grew to womanhood here and a few years ago came with her parents to the town of Beaver, where they now reside. She was married May 10th, 1912, to Martin Johnstone. To this union were born three children, whom are left to be cared for by a devoted husband and father.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the Norwegian Lutheran Church, Rev. S.R. Erdahl officiating. The body was interred in Greenwood Cemetery.
