Wenzel Cathryn C. (Marriage - 30 Jun 1909)
Mr. Ernest W. Lee and Miss Cathryn C. Wenzel were married at the home of the bride’s parents near Withee, Clark County, Jun 30, 1909, Rev. Rowe officiating. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T.F. Lee of Fremont. He was brought up on the farm, graduated from the Neillsville High School and became a very successful teacher. Later he took the short course in Agriculture at the State University and the past few years has been carrying on the home farm. No higher type of intelligent manhood can be found in Clark County than the groom. For some time during his school course here he was one of the writer’s household and we know of his good qualities. The bride is not personally known to us. She has been a successful teacher, and knowing Mr. Lee’s good judgment, we feel certain that his choice is a wise one. A new house is being erected on the Lee farm, which will be their home. We offer our good wishes.
