Ludington, Carrie L. (Marriage - 8 Sep 1909)
A quiet wedding took place at four o’clock Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 8, 1909, at the home of Geo. A. Ludington, when his daughter, Mrs. Carrie Lacey was united in marriage with Mr. Harry Bradshaw of Dublin, Indiana. There were not invited guests. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. P. Burrows, the ring ceremony being used.
The bride is too well known here (Neillsville, Clark County) to need any introduction. She grew up and was educated in our schools, and has a large circle of well chosen friends. She is a lady of refinement, intelligence and rare musical talent. Her devotion and helpfulness to her father, through sickness and through health, have given additional proof of her kindness of heart, and worth as a woman.
The groom is a prosperous young farmer of the modern type; quiet, modest and unassuming, but evidently a man of education and force of character. They will make their home on his farm near Dublin, Ind., in which vicinity the bride has relatives and many acquaintances, made during her visits there.
That the coming years May bring to Mr. and Mrs. Bradshaw the full measure of happiness and prosperity they richly deserve, is the best wish of their friends in Neillsville.
