Lye, Ida (Marriage - 15 Jan 1910)
Miss Ida Lye, daughter of Mrs. Rosa Lye of Neillsville, Clark County, and Mr. Charlie Mentzel of Grafton, Wis., were married at the German Lutheran Church Saturday, Rev. H. Brandt officiating. The bridesmaids were Elizabeth Mentzel, sister of the groom, and Lora Marth. The bride and bridesmaids were all dressed in white, the bride carrying a bouquet of white roses and the bridesmaids carried pink carnations. The groomsmen were Emil and Henry Mentzel, brother of the groom.
Among those who came to attend the wedding were the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Mentzel Sr. All the relatives stayed a few days to look over the country. The bride is a young lady of the most excellent qualities and much liked by all who know her. The groom is a prosperous and industrious carpenter. The will go to Grafton in a few weeks to make their home there.
