Bissell, Mrs. Anson (23 Jul 1850 - 19 Jul 1909)
Mrs. Anson Bissell did at her home west of this city (Neillsville, Clark Co.) Jul 19, 1909. Deceased was born in Washington Co., Wis., Jul 23, 1850, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Evans. She came to this locality with her parents, and has lived here ever since. She was married to Anson Bissell Oct. 22, 1871. To them were born three children, two sons, Roy and David, now grown to manhood and residing here, and one little girl who died in childhood. Besides her husband and sons, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. E.F. Hubbard and Mrs. N. Blau, and two brothers, Eugene and Wilfred Evans, to mourn her death.
She was a woman of quiet home tastes, and everyday good qualities. Her death has left a sad vacancy in her home, and has awakened the sympathy of all who knew her.
The funeral will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 1:30 o’clock at the house, Rev. W.P. Burrows officiating.
