John LeRoy died of tuberculosis at the home of his sister Mrs. Mary Masten on the North Side (Neillsville, Clark County), Thursday night Sept. 2, 1909, aged 32 years, 1 months and 20 days. He was born at Fond du Lac, Wis. He was brought here from the hospital in St. Paul about the middle of June, his father Joseph LeRoy coming with him to help care for him. Besides Mrs. Masten he has one sister in N.D.; one in Wausau, three brothers in Minnesota, one in Washington and one who came here to help in caring for him. He was practically confined to the bed since coming here. The funeral took place at the Catholic Church Monday forenoon.
