Edward S. Walker died at his home near Tioga, Clark County Oct. 18, 1909, aged 65 years, 6 months and 1 day. His death was due to cancer, from which he had suffered long. For some time he lived alone, but about two months ago his son came from Lancaster to stay with him. The remains were taken to Lancaster on the 20th for burial. Mr. Walker was a Free Mason and members of the lodge here went out to the home to assist in preparing for the burial.
