Cassidy, Bernard (17 Oct 1843 - 18 Nov 1909)
Died, at his home in Weston, Clark County early Thursday morning, Nov. 18, 1909, Bernard Cassidy. He was born in Canada sixty-six years ago Oct. 17; was married to Anastasia Redmond thirty-six years ago, coming to Wisconsin twenty-seven years ago and bought a farm in the town of Weston, where he has lived ever since. They had four children born to them, two of whom are living, Edward, who lives with them and Mrs. Wm. LaFleur of Weston. His wife and one sister also survive him, the sister, Mrs. Geo. Duncan, living in Canada.
He had been sick for three months with a chronic disease. He was a hard working man and a good husband and father and neighbor. He thought there was nothing like his home and family. The funeral was held Saturday morning at St. Mary’s Church, Rev. Dorrenbach officiating.
