Miller, Martin (27 Dec 1872 - 1 Dec 1909)
Martin Miller was born in Russia in 1872 and was of German Descent. At the age of 17 he came from Russia to South Dakota with his uncle and moved to Wisconsin five years later; was married to Maud Smith in 1889; moved to Fullerton, N.D., in 1907. He died at the home of Geo. W. Smith Dec. 1, 1909, aged 36 years, 11 months and 5 days. His death was caused by leakage of the heart. He leaves a wife and two sons, Dewey Adolph and Martin Eugene, also a father and sisters in the old country.
Deceased was a kind and loving husband and father and we shall miss him from our midst. He has gone but is not forgotten. Though his toil on earth is over and the loving voice is stilled, though his dear ones here must mourn, yet we live in hopes to meet him over on the other shore.
Funeral services were held at the church in Silverleaf Saturday, conducted by Rev. Farrand of Ellendale, N.D.
