Hubing, Nicholas (1 Augl 1853 - 19 Jan 1910)

Mr. Nickolas Hubing died at his home at Pleasant Ridge, Clark County, Jan. 19, 1910 at 6:20 p.m.

He was born at Belgium, Wis., Aug. 1, 1853. He was married in 1879 to Miss Mary Puetz of Cedar Grove, Wis., and came to Clark Co., Mar. 1, the same year, and has resided here since. Mr. Hubing’s health has been very poor for about four years. All medical treatment and tender care was rendered, but all in vain. His death was caused by a ruptured tumor in the head. He was laid to rest in the Catholic Cemtery at Neillsville Jan. 22, Rev. Father Dorrenbach officiating. Although he was ill a long time he was always hoping for the better and seldom complained. He was a kind father and husband and his death will be a heavy loss to them. He is survived by a wife and ten children: William of Granton, Edward, Clara, Henry, Celia, Albert, Arthur, Charles, Geo., and Marie. Two brothers, Mike J. of Belgium, Michael of Granton, and one sister, Mrs. N. Decker of Belgium, Wis.

Those from away who were here to attend the funeral were: Mrs. Paul Streff and John Puetz of Chicago, John Hubing of Loyal, George and Arthur Blecha and George and Frank Hubing of Athens, Jacob Krier, Mike Hubing, Nick Hubing, Geo. Hubing and Guillium Croatt of Belgium
