Scranton, Minnie (25 May 1882 - 5 May 1910)

Mrs. Minnie Scranton, wife of Harry Scranton, died at the hospital in Centralia, Wash., May 5, 1910, where she had undergone a surgical operation. The remains, accompanied by Mr. Scranton, arrived here Tuesday night; the funeral will take place Thursday forenoon at 10 o’clock at Dells Dam Church, Rev. N.F. Chapman officiating.

Deceased, who was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Johnson, was born in the town of Levis, Clark County May 25, 1882. She was married to Harry Scranton May 25, 1898. About five years ago they moved to Centralia, Wash., where they resided until her death. From childhood up, her kindly disposition and goodness of heart endeared her to all who knew her, and she is sincerely mourned by all her friends, and all sympathize with her husband and three children, left motherless. She leaves also her parents and three sisters, Mrs. Geo. Braman, Mrs. Anna Brisbois and Miss Tillie Johnson, also three brothers, John, Mike and Free. Mrs. Braman lives in Colorado and Free Johnson in Centralia. The others reside here.
