Klopf, Paulina (18 Mar 1834 - 6 Jun 1910)
Mrs. Paulina Klopf, one of the old residents of this city, died at her home here June 6, 1910. Deceased, whose maiden name was Paulina Goldschmidt, was born March 18, 1834 in Zaisarswanhar Oberant Maulbrun, Woertenberg, Germany. She came to America with friends in 1849, and in 1853 was married to Frederick Klopf in Brooklyn, N.Y. They moved to Johnsonville, Sheboygan Co. in 1857 and from there to Neillsville, Clark County in 1874. To them were born six children, one daughter and five sons, namely, Mrs. Louisa Reineking, Henry, William, Frederick, Gustav and Alfred. Her husband and son Frederick have gone before. She was a good and faithful wife and mother and worked diligently for the welfare of her home and family. The funeral will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at the house.
