Boyer, Helene (1890? - 26 Augl 1910)
Helene Boyer, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Boyer of Weston, Clark County, was killed in an automobile wreck at St. Paul Aug. 26, 1910. She was a waitress in a hotel there and had gone out with some companions for a ride in an auto. In returning the machine went into the ditch, killing Miss Boyer instantly and also one of the men, others of the party being seriously injured. Undertaker Eberhardt went to St. Paul for the remains of the unfortunate girl, and the funeral took place at Globe Tuesday, Rev. Brandt officiating. It is one of the saddest things that has come to this community in many years. Deceased was about twenty years of age. The mother is prostrate with grief and all the family are overcome with sorrow. The St. Paul papers gave sensational accounts of the accident.
