McNamara, Theresa B. (1843 - 2 Dec 1910)
Mrs. Dennis McNamara died at her home in this city (Neillsville, Clark County) Dec. 2, 1910, after a brief illness.
Mary Theresa Brigetta O’Donnell was born in the butler Estate near Clonmell, Ireland in 1843. Her mother died during her infancy, after which time until she was eighteen, she lived with an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. James butler near Clonmell, and with relatives in England. At the age of eighteen she came to Milwaukee to live with her father, Wm. O’Donnell, who was one of that city’s early residents. In 1869 she was married to Dennis McNamara, who survives her. The later years of her life were spent in Neillsville. She was a woman of retiring, quiet tastes, a great lover of flowers, and the things about home.
She is survived by her husband and five children: Mrs. F.A. Oelig of Greenwood; Edward F. McNamara of Minneapolis; Mrs. Bessie Perry of Chicago, Mae E. of Neillsville and Theodore I. of Minneapolis.
The funeral was held at the home Sunday afternoon, Rev. H.A. Risser preaching the funeral sermon.
The family wishes to express their keen appreciation of the assistance and sympathy shown to them in their bereavement.
