Burnett, Rosetta H. (7 Nov 1849 - 11 Oct 1911)

Mrs. Rosetta H. Burnett died at the home of her son frank, in this city Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1911, at 12:40 p.m., after an illness of several weeks.

Deceased, whose maiden name was Rosetta H. Monroe, was born in Allegheny Co., N.Y., Nov. 7, 1849, and came with her parents to Waushara Co., Wis., in 1856. She was married to Chas. T. Burnett Jul 4, 1876, at Wautoma, Wis. They came to Clark County in May 1881. Mr. Burnett died about ten years ago, since which time she has made her home with her son Frank, when not visiting her other children. She leaves to mourn her death, six children, Namely, Mrs. F.E. Darling of Montesano, Wash., Mrs. H.F. Kern of Duluth, Frank of this city, Chas. of Eleva, and Helen of Neillsville. She leaves also one brother, R.R. Monroe of Waushara Co. and two sisters, Mrs. Maxson of Waukau, Wis., and Mrs. Frank Raether of the town of Levis.

Mrs. Burnett was a consistent member of the Methodist Church and for many years an enthusiastic and helpful member of the W.R.C. She was a good woman, a good mother, a kind neighbor, always ready to help in any service. The funeral was held Saturday at the home, Rev. Prucia officiating, the W.R.C. attending in a body.
