Dickinson, Kate E. (16 Mar 1851 - 14 Nov 1911)

Mrs. D. Dickinson died at her home in this city Tuesday Nov. 14, 1911, after an illness of about six weeks. She was one of the oldest remaining in Neillsville, Clark County, having come here in 1860.

She was born at Cottage Grove, Wis., March 16, 1851, her maiden name being Kate E. Curtiss. On coming to Neillsville she made her home with Judge and Mrs. Dewhurst till her marriage to Decatur Dickinson in Jun 1875. To them were born five children, Carrie, Grace, Willis, Richard and Thomas, of whom only Richard and Willis are living. Besides them and her husband, there remains her sister, Mrs. Dewhurst, to mourn her death.

She possessed the plain, quiet virtues that in all times and in all ages characterize the good wife and mother.

The funeral will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2:30.
