Fuller, Ernest (24 May 1866 - 19 Mar 1912)
Ernest Fuller, whose death was mentioned last week, was born at Monroe, Wis., and at his death was 45 years, 9 months and 26 days old. He was the son of Henry Fuller and came here (Neillsville, Clark Co.) with his parents when a small boy. After graduating from the high school he taught school successfully, learned the printer trade and for some time worked in this office and in the Times office. Later he became a railway postal clerk and for some time had his headquarters at Ashland. His health would not stand the railway service and he secured a position in the Duluth Post Office under the late Ira B. Jones, who was his life long friend. When Mr. Jones died it seriously affected Ernest’s health and also his mind, so that he had to go to the hospital, where he died. After his mother died some years ago, he made his home while here with his sister, Mrs. Wm. Heaslett. Ernest Fuller was always esteemed, even in his boyhood, for his honesty, faithfulness in all things, and high ideals of life. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the M.E. Church, Rev. F.M. Prucia preaching the funeral sermon. The funeral was held under the auspices of the Odd Fellows.
