Mrs. Frank Austin died at her home in this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Sept. 9, 1912. She had been sick a long time and was a great sufferer, but bore her pain with wonderful patience. Her husband and many friends and neighbors did all in their power to make her suffering easier to bear and she fully appreciated all that was done for her.

Mrs. Austin, whose maiden name was Julia Wade, was born in Dodge Co., Wis., and came to Clark County with her parents when she was eight years old. She was married to Frank Austin Jul 4, 1895, and they have resided in and around Neillsville ever since.

Besides her husband, she leaves one brother, Ed Wade and two sisters, Mrs. Evan Williams of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Eliza Fenelson of Merrillan. The funeral was held at the house Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Risser officiating.
