Frenzel, Frederick W. (13 Sep 1847 - 30 Oct 1912)
The subject of this obituary, Frederick W. Frenzel, was born on Sept. 13, 1847, at Mislavitz, Silesia, Germany, and passed peacefully away in his home north of town last Wednesday evening at the aged of 65 years, 1 month and 17 days. He immigrated to this country with his family in 1885, locating on a farm near Milwaukee. In 1895 they moved to Clark County, buying a farm near Neillsville, where they have resided ever since.
The deceased was humble, modest and unassuming in his manner, never liked outward display and to know him was to respect him for his true manly worth. He was a devoted husband, a kind and loving father, always manifesting a deep concern for the welfare of his family, and was a faithful Christian in work and worship. He is survived by his sorrowing widow and three sons, Gustave, William and Emil. The deceased was a member of the German Reformed Church and the obsequies were held according to the rites of that denomination Sunday afternoon, Rev. Schmid officiating.
