Schroeder, Elsie (Marriage - 12 Dec 1911)
Mr. Herman Pagenkopf and Miss Elsie Schroeder were married Tuesday Dec. 12, 1911 at the German Lutheran Church, Rev. H. Brandt officiating. The ceremony was performed in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. Mr. Max Shroeder, brother of the bride and Miss Lena Pagenkopf, sister of the groom, were witnesses. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Pagenkopf of Grant, Clark County. He was brought up on his father’s farm and was employed for some years on neighboring farms, gaining a reputation for honesty, industry and ability as a farmer. Later he bought a good farm of his own near his father’s.
The bride is a young lady of excellent qualifications, well fitted in every way to assume the care and keeping of a home. She is the daughter of Mrs. Carl Schroeder of Levis, Clark Co. They will begin housekeeping at once in their own home. We join in hopes for their success and happiness.
