Clark County Places More Acres In Forest October 1937

By adding 960 acres of state land to its county forest, Clark County will have over 112,000 acres of its land in forest production, reports the county forester. 25 forties have been put under the forest crop division to increase the county income by about $200 a year.

A shipment of 75 pheasants was received last Wednesday by the Clark county Conservation League from the State Game farm at Poynette. The Pheasants were liberated in this vicinity upon their arrival.
