TO START SAW MILL IN GREENWOOD April 1937
James Slauson has made arrangements to set up a saw mill in Greenwood, near the Soo Line tracks.
Mr. Slauson, will for the present, cut ties and is now contracting for maple, rock elm and oak timber.
The new mill will employ about 17 men while others will also be employed to do woods work and hauling. This new industry should be of great benefit to this community.
