Klein, William (17 May 1851 - 27 Jul 1913)
William Klein died at his home in Grant, Clark County Sunday as a result of a stroke of paralysis. Deceased was born near Belgium, Ozaukee Co., Wis., May 17, 1851. He was married Apr. 1, 1887 to Cathrenia Perrin and came to Clark County soon after, settling on his farm that has been his home ever since. His first wife died about eight years ago and two years later he married Mrs. Peter Hors, who died about three since.
He leaves a brother, Dominek Klein, two sisters, Mrs. Mike Hubing of Athens and Mrs. Ann Kreier of Belgium, also two step-brothers and two step-sisters.
The funeral was held Tuesday forenoon at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Those from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Hubing, Emil, George and Frank Hubing of Athens, John Hubing of Loyal and Jos. Hyder of Milwaukee.
Deceased was one of the most highly respected citizens of the town of Grant, where he had lived 36 years.
