Milton, Luella (28 Nov 1865 - 21 Nov 1913)

Mrs. George Milton of Pine Valley, Clark County died at the hospital in Marshfield Friday, Nov. 21, about two hours after a surgical operation undertaken for the relief of adhesions which followed an operation some years ago.

Luella Paulus, daughter of the late John Paulus of this city, was born in Oconomowoc, Wis., Nov. 28, 1865. At the age of five she came with her parents to Clark County and has lived here ever since. She was married to George Milton at Neillsville March 22, 1887. She is survived by her husband and six children, fives sons on one daughter, whose names are Leslie, Harry, James, Thornton and Elmer, and the daughter, Sylvia. She leaves also one brother James Paulus of this city and a sister Barbara Jones of Los Angeles. No better woman ever lived in this community than Mrs. Milton. She was the kindest and most helpful of neighbors, a most excellent woman in the home where she will be sadly missed.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist Church, Rev. F.H. Nogle officiating.
