Huntley, Richard (1845 - 14 Feb 1914)
Richard Huntley, brother of Mayor William Huntley died Feb 14, 1914 at the home of his daughter in Minneapolis.
He was born in Milwaukee in 1845. When two years old he moved with the family to West Bend, where he grew to manhood. He served through the Civil War in the First Wis. Artillery. In 1868 he came to Clark County and settled on what is now Fred Puttkamer’s farm in Weston. Later hem moved to Chippewa Falls and last November went to live with his daughter. Burial took place at Chippewa Falls Monday.
He was a man of sterling character, and highly respected wherever he was known.
